Motherowrt is one of my favorites! Considered an herb for the heart, and also the womb, Motherwort provides deep relief from the grief and overwhelm of life's heaviness and burdens.

Motherwort is a great tonic herb, meaning it is overall toning (especially to the uterus), however, I prefer not to use Motherwort a s a daily tonic, but more as a 'in times of need' medicine. When overly stressed, in the daily grind, and you notice a heartache for a simpler, softer life, take a bit of Motherwort to soothe and help you relax into the life that is at your feet, waiting to be greeted with full presence and care. Motherwort is a tending medicine, one to give yourself the care you need, and open you to give the care that others need from you. Tenderness, relaxing anxiety, and soothing the grief of the heart.

Motherwort is my favorite tincture to relieve and heal painful period cramps. Take at times of painful cramping.
